PhD student Charlène Dupré joins Professor Matsusaki’s laboratory in Japan within the framework “JSPS Summer Program”

PhD student Charlène Dupré (INSERM UMR1121, Strasbourg, France) has joined Professor Matsusaki’s laboratory at Osaka University, Japan, for a two-month stay in the context of the JSPS Summer Program (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science).

Under the supervision of Dr. Fiona Louis (TOPPAN INC., Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka, Japan) and Dr. Quentin Muller (Consortium for Future Innovation by Cultured Meat, Osaka, Japan), this research mobility aims to merge her PhD project with ongoing work in the Japanese laboratory.

The objective is to use her actively degradable polymer microparticles and coat them using the Layer-by-Layer (LbL) technique, in order to study the innervation of adipose tissues by the creation of new iPAT (Injectable Prevascularized Adipose Tissue).
