French-Ukrainian Scientific Collaboration on 3D Bioprinting

A new collaboration is taking shape between the Department of Biochemistry at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine) and the « Biomaterials and Bioengineering » laboratory.
As part of joint research initiatives, the U1121 laboratory hosted several Ukrainian undergraduate students in October for immersion internships focused on biomaterials, bioengineering, and bioprinting. The program included an introduction to research on PLGA micro-scaffolds, bioprinting, 3D printing modeling, and the development of model « inks. »
These exchanges facilitate the sharing of knowledge, the training of future researchers, and the development of international scientific collaborations.
Special thanks to our Ukrainian partners—Juriy Kot, head of the « Karazin Biomed » laboratory and chair of the Department of Biochemistry, and Iryna Lysova, a postdoctoral researcher at the U1121 laboratory—for establishing this enriching collaboration.
